Sharpening Your Professional Edge

An Executive Coaching Experience for Women

What is this coaching experience?

Sharpening Your Professional Edge is an Executive Coaching experience for women. This experience will be limited to a group of 12 women leaders who will be sponsored by their organizations for a significant development opportunity. CPI is targeting a Fall 2008 Kickoff for this experience.

Who should attend?
Women leaders who have significant decision making responsibility, run a significant portion of a business or functional area, are expected to contribute to the business strategy, and have the ability to influence other leaders in the organization. Only one participant from an industry segment will be able to participate in the coaching experience to maximize the impact of the experience and assure confidentiality.

What is the format?
We begin with an in-depth assessment for each participant. This assessment will provide the necessary insights to help participants leverage their strengths and understand their less developed competencies that are critical for leadership success. The coaching experience will include:
  • 12 women leaders from non-competing organizations
  • Assessment and reflection
  • Monthly (half day sessions) for eight months
  • Two-hour individual coaching session each month
What are the benefits of the program?
Membership in this program will provide participants with the following benefits:
  • Learn strategies and tactics for increasing your ability to influence CEOs, board members, and other senior executives
  • Increase your ability to negotiate and manage conflict in challenging situations
  • Improve your ability to inspire, coach, and mentor emerging women leaders
  • Develop strategies and techniques for advancing your career; leveraging your passions, strengths, and natural leadership style
  • Create a personal action plan for achieving your leadership goals utilizing increased self awareness and understanding
  • Build a network of learning relationships with other women leaders experiencing similar challenges and opportunities.
  • Receive on-going support and participation in CPI’s Career Community which includes quarterly breakfast invites, briefings, access to our alumni database, CPI library, and SkillSoft e-learning system.
What should I do if I’m interested in learning more?
